This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join our team of exceptional teachers in September 2024.

As our Modern Foreign Languages Teacher, you will do your utmost to ignite a love of languages and inspire our students to become active learners and informed members of society.

About The Role and You

Contract Type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: Commensurate on experience

Start Date: September 2024

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching French from KS3 to A-Level.
  • Some EAL teaching.
  • Experience with Cambridge English Proficiency Exams and IELTS is useful.
  • Planning and delivering stimulating and engaging lessons.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A specialism in French or another Modern Foreign Language
  • Experience in teaching
  • The ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential

We are currently looking for a hard-working and friendly Residential Graduate Assistant to join our school. Could that be you? 

As our Residential Graduate Assistant, you will support all aspects of Boarding life at Lucton School as well as other various departments such as sport, performing arts, after-school clubs, outdoor learning and trips.

About the Role 

Contract Type: One-year fixed-term contract. 

Salary: £13,000 per annum, plus free accommodation and meals provided  

Start Date: September 2024 

Your main responsibilities will include: 

  • To support various academic departments around the school to include music, drama, sport, equestrian, CCF etc.  
  • Lifeguarding for all school swimming sessions at the Prince Edward Swimming Pool as required.  
  • Working within the Boarding House to help with all duties, including supervision of children, dining room supervision, bedtime roll etc.

We are looking for someone who: 

  • Has excellent organisational skills. 
  • Is adaptable and reliable. 
  • Can work effectively as part of a team. 
  • Can work well under pressure. 
  • Has the ability to listen and communicate at all levels (pupils, parents, staff) offering excellent customer service skills, initiative, and commitment.
