We are incredibly grateful to our supportive parent community for creating our fantastic School Gate to Plate shop here at Lucton.
Stocked daily, the shop already offers a beautiful selection of fresh flowers, farm-fresh eggs, local honey, and the Floreat Luctona newsletter. It’s quickly becoming a much-loved part of the school day for both students and parents alike.
And there’s even more to come! Soon, we’ll be stocking our very own Lucton eggs from chickens hatched right here in the Year 4 classroom, as well as local honey from beehives in our orchard, an exciting hands-on journey for our pupils.
The initiative doesn’t stop there. Parents have also been baking and preparing delicious treats, including biscuits and ice creams, which are brought in and sold at the shop.
This is a truly special project that brings our community together. Thank you to everyone involved for your time, creativity, and generosity. It’s making a real difference!
