About the Role and You

Working pattern: Full Time, Permanent, All Year Round

Salary: Up to 26k per annum (based on experience)

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Establish and maintain good relationships with all students, parents/carers, colleagues, suppliers, contractors and other professionals.
  • Assisting with the school’s finance processes including sending out termly bills, associated record keeping and supplier run.
  • General Office Management and administrative duties including HR/Finance/Operations etc
  • Generating invoices for parents, raising invoices/adding invoices to Xero.
  • Dealing with queries regarding invoices with suppliers.
  • Manage the Headteacher’s diary and time including booking appointments, acting as the ‘gatekeeper’, receiving visitors, providing preparatory support for meetings and events when necessary.
  • Management of pupil files, SCR, email correspondence and any administrative filing, including confidential personnel files;
  • Handling billing enquiries and taking payments over the phone

About you : We are looking for someone who has:

  • Worked within a busy reception and office/school environment ideally as School Secretary or Heads PA.
  • Excellent IT skills – including intermediate or advanced level in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint
  • The ability to work unsupervised and to prioritise work during peaks of commitment
  • Good organisational and administration skills with knowledge of XERO is an advantage

Your Main Responsibilities will include:

About the Position

Contract Type: Part – time, permanent

Working Hours: 0.80 FTE, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, rotation of days including weekends. One fixed day off and every other weekend.

You will be based in the yard carrying out all of the stable duties and turning horses out to a high standard for lessons.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Instructing students in various aspects of horsemanship and horse care.
  • Organise and lead practical sessions, helping to enhance pupils equestrian skills.
  • Promote safety awareness amongst pupils, ensuring that all health and safety measures are followed.
  • Provide practical demonstrations.

About You : We are looking for someone who has:

  • A minimum of a BHS Stage 2 or equivalent, or ideally BHS Stage 3 or Level 3 in Equine Management, or equal yard experience.
  • The ability to use their initiative.
  • Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team and individually.
  • We are also looking for someone who is:
  • A competent rider
  • Able to handle a variety of horses in a safe manner

Desirable Skills: we are looking for someone who:

Minibus Driver

We are looking for a trustworthy and dependable part-time School Minibus Driver to join our school. The ideal candidate will hold a valid UK Category D1 driving license or be willing to train towards obtaining their Category D1 entitlement.
