End of Tenure for Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet

Posted: 11th March 2022

Amelia-Sky completed her two years as Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet – an impressive accomplishment given that the tenure usually only lasts a year.

As part of her outgoing service, she had to write and perform a speech, march on stage and receive her certificates from Mr Harley, the Lord Lieutenant. Over the two years, Amelia-Sky has represented Lucton with pride in her role, attending Battle of Britain memorial services, MBE, BEM and even OBE presentations, as well as being an aide to the Lord Lieutenant at various events. As she hands over the prestigious title, she can reflect on an amazing experience, which has given her real insight into the wider world.
