Acquired right at the end of 2009, the Lucton School Equestrian Centre is sited immediately opposite the front entrance to Lucton School. The 14 acre site has stabling for 14 horses. During 2010, we made a start on upgrading the fencing and will continue with building a number of Cross-country jumps within the stable fields.
The proximity of good hacking and the highly qualified Miss Coates, our centre manager and main provider of lessons, bring the possibility to all students, day or boarders, to have their horses and ponies to the school.
From September, Miss Coates will be offering sixth formers the chance to gain their BHS A.I. qualification and stable management courses will also run alongside riding lessons.
