Alberto / Spain

Hi everybody! My name is Alberto and I’m a Spanish guy!

I’m 15 years old and I’m from Barcelona, Spain. I’m in year 10.

I don’t have any family member here, but I think that it’s better because I will learn more English if I’m just with English people.

Maybe, the most difficult thing about studying here is the language, but just in the beginning of the term because my English improved quickly and in some weeks I could speak English much better.

Here, I really like the TimeTable, because in Spain it’s much less flexible. I Hate the PrepTimes, I think we could do our homework in our rooms because it is so boring to stay in a big room for 1 hour and a half.

When we have to play games, I love to play football. I enjoy a lot playing football with my mates, but I really don’t like to play rugby because I think it’s too rough and people who play rugby are aggressive.

After school I go to the boarding house. I really like the life in the boarding house, because we all go out on weekends together. We go shopping, paintballing, visiting the cinema, climbing and other activities.

We all have our own rooms, but they are small.

When I finish my studies, I don’t know what I want to be, but I’m sure that I will go to the university to study something about Science.

I really like Chemistry classes, because I’m learning a lot in them. In Spain I didn’t do this type of thing before. In Lucton School we are always doing some interesting experiments.
