The average class size in the Prep School is small, even by independent school standards and this allows our teachers to offer excellent levels of differentiated teaching. This ensures that every member of the class is brought on at their optimum rate.

All pupils are assessed on entry and this baseline assessment allows for a comprehensive monitoring of development.

The classroom work is supported by a very full programme of trips and visits to museums and historic buildings.

SEN support is also available when needed.

Free violin lessons are given to pupils at the top of the Prep School and in their first year of the Middle School.
