The Friends of Lucton School is Lucton's very active parent/teacher support group. Through a series of social events throughout the year, funds are raised towards improving the classroom experience by purchasing extra items of equipment and software.

An appeal by the Friends to raise £50,000 towards the new swimming pool was completed last year and the final cheque was presented to the headmistress at the Friends' AGM. This year, we raised money to improve the provision of musical instruments at the school and have purchased £2,500 worth of string instruments and a new grand piano for the Memorial Hall.
